Through years of experience, Blue River’s family gets to Colico and takes over the bar.
Local people start soon to appreciate its hospitality and passion for work.

year 2011:

THE RESTAURANT

This year is a turning point for Blue River: the family decides to expand the bar and create a restaurant, steak house and pizzeria upstairs.
The elegance of the furniture is a clear link to the tradition, whereas the spirit and the menu look to a modern future.

since 2012:

THE F***ING PARTY

Rendezvous point for colichesi (local people) and not, loved by tourists for its cuisine and the central position directly on the Como lake, Blue River starts to celebrate its birthday with a crazy party. Music, lights, acrobats, fire eaters, fireworks make Blue River’s birthday the most anticipated event of Colico.

2020:

BLUE RIVER AT HOME

Since the pandemic, Blue River has increased its take away service, adding home delivery to the classic take away formula.
You can order pizza, burgers and many other dishes on the menu from the comfort of your home, in a radius that goes from Dubino to Olgiasca.
